John Cullen Lighting’s Product Development Manager, Matt Healey, tells us about the latest product launched the Syon – our miniature LED spotlight.
Does the Syon sit within a current family of products?
The Syon joins our existing Minos and Eden spotlights in our surface mounted luminaire range. Syon takes a miniaturised approach to the current spotlight family and utilises the same 1W LED chip as used elsewhere in the John Cullen Lighting range.
What makes it different from other fittings?
It is a small and discreet fitting which produces a high quality of light whilst having a simple design. The Syon is part of our philosophy for miniaturisation.
Which technology has been used?
The Syon has been developed using our signature >90 CRI LED with a miniature optic.
What key applications will the Syon be used for?
There are many applications for this versatile fitting. It is especially useful for areas where you can’t recess such as concrete ceilings or beams in a barn. It can also be used to illuminate outside features such as spotlighting onto a table, planting or skimming light down a wall or trellis.
Can you describe the Syon in 3 words?
Simple, discreet and energy efficient.
